If you want to understand the world the way it truly is, you need to begin right here where God begins. Think of flowers that have been snipped from the garden and neatly arranged in a vase. For a while, they keep their beauty, their fragrance, and their structure. To the casual observer, they appear alive and vibrant. But because they have been severed from the soil that nourished them, they are actually in the process of dying. This is the current condition of the modern world. They don’t want God or His authoritative input, but they desperately covet the fruit that only a Christian civilization can produce. They want objective morals without the God the Moral Lawgiver. They want human rights without God the Creator who stamped His image on man. They want freedom without God the only source of true freedom.
